§ 02 · Indication

Cranial reconstruction.

Porous 3D-printed titanium or milled PEEK implants for cranial reconstruction.

Cranial reconstruction

Cranial reconstruction restores the cranial vault after trauma, tumor resection, or congenital defects. We design patient-specific implants — porous titanium (3D-printed) or milled PEEK — to match the precise contour of the defect.

Material choice

  • Porous 3D-printed titanium (Ti6Al4V ELI) — for large vault defects, areas with high mechanical loads, and when osseointegration is desired
  • Milled PEEK — for thin vault zones, when MRI/CT artifact is a concern, or for revisions over a previous implant

The choice is made jointly with the surgeon based on defect location, soft-tissue coverage, and patient history.

Workflow

From CT series — DICOM segmentation, virtual reconstruction, surgeon validation. Then we print the implant, post-process and sterilize, and ship it together with a sterile cutting guide if needed.
